Surviving in the Bush

On Wednesday 2nd May, 54 of our Year 4 children set off to Hatfield Woods for an exciting camping adventure. They arrived at school early on Wednesday and with a few quick goodbyes to their parents they were excited to set off on their journey.

The children enjoyed a variety of activities over the three days including, shelter building and camouflage, first aid in the bush and how to gut a salmon.   A lucky few even got to eat a fish eye! Their favourite part of the trip however was the food! On the first day, they built their own camp fires to cook their burgers. The next morning they had a wonderful cooked breakfast before enjoying freshly made pizzas for lunch.

Sit back and enjoy our pictures and vlogs to truly appreciate our once in a lifetime experience.
