Parents/Carers

Please come to our workshop!

Find out about our exciting workshop taking place next week, all about the characteristics of effective learning!

Wednesday 25th April 2018 at 1.30 – 2.45 pm.

In EYFS, alongside supporting our children to achieve the Early Learning Goals, we also plan for them to develop the three Characteristics of Effective Learning. This is an important element of our curriculum and underpins all of our teaching and provision. We will be reporting to you at the end of the year on how your child learns within each of the three characteristics.

To help you to understand more about the Characteristics of Effective Learning, we would like to invite you to attend a fun parent workshop on Wednesday 25th April 2018 at 1.30 – 2.45 pm.

We will be providing a short presentation on the Characteristics of Effective Learning, what they are and what you can do at home to nurture your child’s learning skills. Following this, we would like to invite you down to our classrooms so that you can work alongside the children in a range of fun and exciting problem-solving activities, so that you can see and join in with some critical thinking in action! We may be outside, so please make sure to bring a coat.

This is an exciting opportunity and we hope that you are all able to make it! Please return the reply slip on the letter sent home on Wednesday 18th April, to let us know that you are able to attend.

Many thanks for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you at the workshop.
